My prints combine a variety of techniques and materials to create textured images. I experiment not only with how the plates are carved, but also with what they’re printed onto, pressing them onto pre-arranged collages, patterned paper, and other unconventional surfaces. What I find interesting about printmaking is how each impression of the same plate can subtly differ, revealing the artist’s process and decisions between editions. I try to highlight those shifts across my variations, letting the changes speak to intention, experimentation, and chance.
